Type : Whiskey
ABV : 84
Producer : Bully Boy Distillers
Country : United States
Size : 750ml
Description :

Bully Boy American Straight Whiskey is a blend of corn, rye, and malted barley. This is a bourbon-sounding mix to our ears and guess that the ratio of corn is somewhat less than 50%, giving it a more scotch-like feel. It is aged for an unspecified time in oak barrels, the "straight" in the label suggesting it's at least 2 years old. They suggest looking for caramel notes and served neat for sipping.

Bully Boy Distillers is located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded by brothers Will and Dave Willis whose upbringing included working on a farm known for distilling spirits during Prohibition. The vault of liquor was discovered in the family farm basement and served as the genesis for the modern-day distillery. The name "Bully Boy" is named after a favorite farm work-horse. Their spirits are small-batch products out of a 600 liter copper pot still using USDA certified organic ingredients.
