Camus Elegance cognacs are based upon the Borderies eau-de-vie spirit before aging--"the smallest cru at the appelation and one that is close to the hear to Maison Camus." The VS or "very special" cognac is more lightly aged and bottled to express the "original personality of the vine." They suggest looking for notes of iris and hawthorn.

Maison Camus was originated in concept in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus when he created the La Grande Marque, which was a group of brandy producers. In 1866, this evolved to the founding of Maison Camus itself, achieving complete control and ownership.

A golden colour with fiery highlights. Floral and fruity with hints of wild rose and hazelnut. Fruity with hints of pepper. Gentle oak and vanilla finish.
