General John Stark Vodka is made from the Flag Hill winery. Their vodka is distilled not from the more typical grain but rather from 100% apples. These apples are obtained from the local New Hampshire orchards of Apple Hill Farm. They first produce a hard cider at about 16 proof and then distill the cider into a vodka. While we are aware of Yahara Bay vodka of Wisconsin using some apples in its production, this is one of the very few vodkas we're aware of that is made from a complete apple base.
