The Silver Root label is owned by the Russian-based Klin Groupe (though filed with the Tax and Trade Bureau as Klin Spirits of Florida) in partnership with scions of singer Bob Marley named Cedella and Rohan Marley. The Marleys created the brand in Jamaica in honor of the reggae spirit. A portion of the profits are said to be donated to various Jamaican charities.
