Smugglers’ Notch Distillery is a father/son partnership in Jeffersonville, VT. The distillery, founded in 2006 at the foot of the famed Smugglers’ Notch, site of many a clandestine bootlegger’s run through this rugged Vermont mountain pass, opened its doors to the public in 2010. Using the finest ingredients blended with pristine Vermont spring water, Jeremy Elliott, a research chemist by trade, and Ron Elliott, with an extensive corporate business background, make and hand-bottle remarkably distinctive, award winning hand-crafted spirits one small batch at a time.

Smugglers’ Notch Bourbon has an exceptionally soft yet rich aroma for a high proof bourbon due to the care taken at all stages of its production. Flavors of caramel, vanilla, rye and malted barley leads to a long, rich, full-bodied finish that is accentuated by notes of chocolate and caramel.
