The Knockdhu Distillery, founded in 1894, is located under Knock Hill, known to the locals by its Gaelic name of anCnoc. This legendary hill provides the pure spring water the distillery needs, while the nearby region of Moray supplies them with peat and barley. After distillation, the whisky is aged in both Sherry butts and bourbon casks to impart distinct flavors on the finished product.

AnCnoc 12 Year displays a soft, aromatic nose of honey and lemon which leads to slightly sweet flavors of dried fruit and spice on the palate. The long, spicy finish is complemented by light notes of vanilla and caramel.
