St. Elder Elderflower liqueur is made in Massachussets by at the MS Walker bottling facility (though the label shows bottled by St Elder, Ltd, presumably a subsidiary of MS Walker). It is made from a base of what they all North American Elder from which they gain a "natural extract" to flavor their liqueur. They market it as a highly versatile ingredient designed to liven up the classic cocktail. 

St Elder received back-to-back Gold Medals in the consumer-panel based SIP Awards, the latter in a field of 17 liqueurs (6 gold medals).

The 2013 Beverage Testing Institute agreed, suggesting it was "like a fortified aperitif" and "will be very distinctive in cocktails."
