A smooth blended whiskey first established in 1834, Lauder's was developed by Archibald Lauder around 1815 soon after distilling was made legal. Made from the finest Highland, Speyside and Lowland malts which are matured in oak barrels and blended together for a light yet fruity and full-bodied blended Scotch.

This was first established in 1834, Lauder's Original is a very smooth blended whisky.

The nose is quite light and smooth. There are notes of mixed peels and cereals, a little caramel sweetness and a touch of dryness. The palate is of medium-body and reasonably well-balanced. There is caramel sweetness, a touch of oak and a wisp of smoke, a little nut note develops. The finish is of medium-length with developing oaked dryness.
