ABV : 80
Producer : Tequila el Viejito, S.A. de C.V.
Country : Mexico

Description :

Peligroso Reposado tequila is "rested" (reposado) in oak for 6 to 8 months prior to bottling, providing a light color and oak flavor to the tequila. They say it has an initial "cooked agave blast" that finishes with a "pleasing spicy fruit."

Peligroso tequilas are the creation of two friends whose constant adventurous trips in Mexico--which they say featured perfect waves, wild parties, and being chased by policemen--told them what they wanted their vodka to be: "peligroso" or "dangerous." The tequila is made in traditional brick ovens and copper pot stills, aged in Tennessee oak. They are bottled at 84 proof, making them, in their words, "that much more peligroso and better." The brand was originally owned by the Peligroso Spirits Company but was sold to Diageo in 2014.
