Original Tennessee whiskey made during the Civil War was distilled from white corn using a pot still. Our Original Tennessee Whiskey is made using similar pot still production techniques, like Granddaddy Benjamin used back in the early 1800’s, and white corn milled for us by the historic Falls Mill in nearby Old Salem, Tennessee.

Benjamin Prichard’s Tennessee Whiskey is distilled in the style of the traditional Tennessee whiskey made five generations ago by Benjamin Prichard.This subtle difference enriches this whiskey with a touch of sweetness. Prichard's Tennessee Whiskey is a one-of-a-kind spirit; it is the only Tennessee whiskey exempt from the required charcoal-mellowing process. It is a Tennessee whiskey worthy of it’s name.

It is more of a traditional whiskey. Made with white corn, in the style of original Tennessee whiskeys, it has a strong rye back with the body and flavor one will not be surprised to find. Pairs well with grilled and smoked meats, chocolate and rich cheeses.
